Background
I initially joined People Data Labs (PDL) to help them with their copywriting.
Their blog was mostly populated by SEO filler content an agency had authored for them, which was not resonating with their audience.
I quickly turned that around, and generated over 300% increase in their blog performance with content more custom-tailored to their audience of data and application innovators.
I also wrote social media and advertising copy for every blog, which significantly improved PDL’s social media engagement, voice consistency, and brand authority.
People Data Labs is now an established thought leader in the data space, thanks to content like the blog and other initiatives myself and the PDL marketing team produced.

Audience-Centric Strategy
Although the SEO agency writing for PDL set a good initial foundation for the company’s early days, my contributions helped catalyze PDL’s messaging into multi-purpose, personalized installments.
I constructed and produced several series of depending on the intended use case, including ‘listicle’ style blogs, event recaps, commentary on the tech and data industries, and more.
This allowed PDL to assemble an intention-based content strategy, enabling various forms of testing to discover what resonated with their audience.
